Requirements

 

We seek applicants with good quantitative skill and strong commitment to pursue challenging graduate study. Applicants must obtain:

1. Bachelor’s degree in any field from an institution accredited by Thammasat University Council or its international equivalent.

2. Quantitative Test (Choose ONE only)

  • SMART-II with a minimum score of 350 and more than 100 of each part. The scores must not be more than two years from the closing day of application (SMART-II is made in Thai version).
  • GMAT scores, A good score on the quantitative part.
  • GRE scores, A good score on the quantitative part.

 

GMAT and GRE scores must not be more than five years from the closing day of application. In past years, the acceptable average scores of GMAT and GRE is 80% in quantitative part. No minimum scores required to apply.

  • Thammasat Competency Test Center (TCTC) has offered SMART-II (walk-in) for applicants who cannot apply the test on a specified date. The applicants shall contact TCTC in advance by phone at 02 613 2199.​

 

3. English Proficiency Test (Choose ONE only) All English proficiency scores must not be more than two years from the closing day of application.

 

  • TU-GET  with a minimum score 550 for paper-based test or 79 for computer-base test.​
  • IELTS The British Council or IDP with a minimum score is 6.5
  • TOEFL with a minimum score of 79 for internet-based test or 550 for institutional testing program.

 

Native English speakers or graduates with a bachelor’s degree in English Program within 2 years may be exempt from showing an English language test when applying.

If the English proficiency test does NOT meet the requirement, candidates may be accepted to the program on the condition that students must meet the English proficiency requirements within the first semester, otherwise students will be terminated.
